Decreasing instalment (rata malejąca)

An instalment in which the principal part is constant and interest is calculated on the decreasing debt. That's why the first instalments are the highest and each subsequent one is lower.

In total you pay less interest than with equal instalments, but you need a higher income at the start, so your creditworthiness may come out lower. Not every bank offers decreasing instalments for every product.
