Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. They help the site work and show us how it is used.
The site does not work without them, so we do not ask for consent:
Our own counter stores a random visit and visitor identifier in browser storage (trk_sid, trk_vid) and sends events to our server: page views, clicks, scrolling and form submissions. It also runs when you have not consented to analytics — such events are flagged and can be excluded from reports or deleted. The data is not passed to third parties.
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, starts only after you consent to analytics. Until then no Google scripts are downloaded.
The Google Ads tag — used to measure ad performance — starts only after you consent to advertising.
The sign-in page loads the Facebook SDK so you can sign in with a Facebook account; Facebook may set its own cookies under its own policy.
You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings — some features (e.g. signing in) may then stop working.
