DFG (Developer Guarantee Fund — Deweloperski Fundusz Gwarancyjny)
A fund that protects the money of people buying flats from developers, e.g. when the developer or the bank holding the escrow account goes bankrupt. It is managed by the Insurance Guarantee Fund (UFG).
The fund is financed by contributions that developers pay on buyers' payments into the escrow account. In situations provided for in the Act, the fund refunds payments that cannot be recovered in any other way.
