Bank margin (marża banku)
The part of a variable interest rate that is set by the bank and usually does not change for the whole loan term. A variable rate is the sum of the reference rate and the margin.
The level of the margin depends, among other things, on your down payment (LTV), your income and whether you take additional bank products, e.g. an account or insurance. You can negotiate the margin before signing the agreement, and later lower it by an annex or by refinancing.
