Loan term (okres kredytowania)
The period for which you take out the loan and over which you repay it in instalments. A longer term lowers the instalment but increases the total interest.
Banks have a maximum term and often require the loan to be repaid before you reach a certain age. You can later shorten the term by overpaying, and sometimes extend it by an annex if the bank agrees.
