Loan tranche (transza kredytu)

A part of the loan paid out at a specific point. When you buy from a developer, the bank often pays out the loan in tranches, according to the payment schedule in the developer agreement.

You pay interest on the amount already paid out. Until the whole loan has been paid out, the bank may charge interest only or instalments on the paid-out part — depending on the agreement.
