Promesa (conditional commitment letter)

A written, conditional commitment that a specific action will be taken once you meet stated conditions. When buying a flat you will most often come across a loan promesa and a promesa from the seller's bank.

A loan promesa is a bank's declaration that it will grant you a loan on specific terms — useful in talks with the seller. A promesa from the seller's bank, where the flat is encumbered with that bank's loan, confirms that once the stated amount is paid the bank will issue consent to delete the mortgage.
