Secondary market (rynek wtórny)

Buying a flat or house that has already had an owner — most often from a private individual. You can usually view a finished unit and move in sooner than on the primary market.

When buying, you pay PCC as a rule, unless you are entitled to the first-home exemption. You negotiate the price directly with the seller, and the key thing is to check the legal status in the land and mortgage register and any arrears in charges.
