Loan agreement (umowa kredytowa)

An agreement in which the bank undertakes to make a specified amount available to you, and you undertake to repay it with interest and costs on the agreed terms. For a mortgage loan it also sets out the security, including the mortgage.

It contains, among other things, the amount, the term, how interest is calculated, fees, payout conditions, overpayment rules and insurance obligations. Before signing it you receive the ESIS form and can ask for a draft of the agreement.
