Residence card (karta pobytu)

A document confirming a foreigner's identity and their right to stay in Poland on the basis of a permit — for temporary residence, permanent residence or as an EU long-term resident.

For a mortgage loan, banks often take into account the type of permit and how long it is valid for, and some require a certain length of residence or employment in Poland. Requirements differ between banks.
