Bridging insurance (ubezpieczenie pomostowe)
Additional security for the bank for the period from the loan payout until the mortgage is entered in the land and mortgage register. It most often takes the form of a higher margin or a separate fee during that period.
Once the court enters the mortgage, the bridging insurance ends and the instalment returns to its target level. On the primary market this period can be long, because the mortgage can only be entered after the flat has been established as a separate unit and a land and mortgage register has been opened for it.
